This article applies to the following issues:
- You have issues connecting to your games while Haste is open
- Your games disconnect while Haste is running
- You see the following error:
It looks like Haste is having a hard time getting connected. Please exit and restart Haste.
These issues are often the result of incompatible settings, or outdated versions/drivers of the following programs:
- Killer Networking / Killer Ethernet
- Asus ROG Gamefirst
This can also be caused by:
- Using a VPN. If you have a VPN, please disable or uninstall it while using Haste.
- Using a cellular hotspot. Certain cellular providers such as AT&T Wireless are not compatible with Haste.
Troubleshooting Killer Products:
If you have a Killer Networking product and are having issues connecting with Haste, chances are you are using an outdated version. This can be solved by updating or uninstalling your Killer software and drivers.
To update Killer Networking, visit https://www.killernetworking.com/driver-downloads and download and install the latest version of Killer Control Center. If you have a legacy version of Killer software installed, you may need to fully uninstall it before installing a newer version. Make sure to restart Windows after.
Troubleshooting ROG Gamefirst
If you have ROG Gamefirst installed and are having issues connecting with Haste, then it is likely you are using an outdated version. This can be solved by updating or uninstalling ROG Gamefirst.
To update ROG Gamefirst, visit the Asus website for your region, https://www.asus.com/ and then navigate to Asus Support, then search for your motherboard model and download the latest version of Gamefirst from the utility downloads. Download and install the latest version of Gamefirst, then restart Windows.
Once you have updated your software, you should now be able to successfully connect to your games with Haste running!
